Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact your child's school Counselor with questions or concerns regarding issues that may be affecting your child's academic progress. Such topics could include family changes, social difficulties, or mental health problems.
Take into consideration:
Professionally trained guidance counselors have confidentiality rules that do not allow us to share some information with parents. However, school counselors are legally required by law to report to the parents if they suspect that your son/daughter is in danger of hurting himself/herself, or harm someone else.
